Our Engineering team is developing the most powerful system for synthesizing molecules ever made, leveraging AI and deep integration with physical hardware to perform chemistry on demand and easily scale to manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing both frontend and backend features and systems to service the needs of our users and our chemists. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Implement user interfaces (web pages) according to designs and specifications


• Write robust and elegant components for reuse in future development


• Implement integrations between our web servers and external vendors, software platforms, or physical equipment


• Solidify software engineering patterns and principles


• Work with the founding team to translate business requirements into technical solutions


• Write effective and useful automated tests to prevent regressions and ensure feature-completeness

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


• 1-5 years of experience in software/web development


• Proficiency with Typescript, React, Node, and basic networking/infrastructure


• Experience with a startup environment
