Join a luxury women’s fashion house with a devoted global following, known for its sophisticated, contemporary collections and thoughtful design. As the brand expands into the New York City retail landscape, we are seeking an exceptional Stock & Operations Lead to support the opening and ongoing success of our New York City flagship for a long-term pop-up.
This is a key role within the store—responsible for ensuring product operations run seamlessly behind the scenes, enabling an elevated, uninterrupted client experience on the sales floor. You’ll play a critical part in supporting the brand’s presence in one of the country’s most prestigious luxury shopping destinations.
The Role
As Stock & Operations Lead , you will oversee all back-of-house operations and merchandise flow, ensuring inventory accuracy, organization, and efficiency at all times. You will work closely with the store leadership and sales team to support daily selling needs, maintain visual and operational standards, and contribute to a polished, high-performing store environment.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, dependable retail professional who takes pride in precision, organization, and operational excellence—and understands how strong stock operations directly support sales and client experience.
What You’ll Own
Stock & Inventory Management
Maintain an organized, efficient, and accurate stockroom at all times
Oversee product receiving, transfers, RTVs, and inventory counts
Ensure timely and accurate replenishment to support sales floor needs
Partner with store leadership to uphold inventory accuracy and loss prevention standards
Merchandise Flow & Floor Support
Support merchandising and visual initiatives through proper product flow and preparation
Maintain sizing, availability, and readiness of merchandise for the sales team
Be present on the floor as needed to support operational flow and client experience
Operations & Team Collaboration
Support daily store operations including shipment processing, stock movement, and system updates
Collaborate closely with Client Advisors and Stylists to anticipate selling needs
Follow all policies related to inventory integrity, transactions, and operational compliance
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
Prior retail experience in stock, operations, or inventory-focused roles (luxury or premium preferred)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-touch retail environments
Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Key Requirements
Previous retail experience in a stockroom, operations, or similar role required
Familiarity with retail systems and inventory processes is required
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and key trading periods
Physical ability to receive, move, and organize merchandise safely
