Machine Operator

salary: $18 - $21.99 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Prepare, feed raw materials into, and operate automated production and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Monitoring & Adjustments: Watch line speeds, material feeds, and machine outputs closely, making minor mechanical adjustments or clear simple jams to prevent downtime.

• Quality Inspections: Perform routine visual and physical quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet strict company and safety specifications.

• Tool & Gauge Literacy: Use basic measuring tools (rulers, gauges, or calipers) to check part dimensions and document production counts in daily logs.

• Sanitation & Safety: Perform basic machine teardowns, cleanings, and reassemblies between product batches while adhering strictly to safety regulations and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.

The essential functions of this role include:
