Role: Retail Pharmacist East Quogue Barths Pharmacy

Compensation: $50.00 – $58.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Schedule & Flexibility

We are looking for coverage on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Every Other Weekend. Note: We value work-life balance! We are happy to discuss schedule flexibility for the right candidate. Full Time available

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Excellence: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions while performing thorough drug utilization reviews.
• Patient Advocacy: Provide expert counseling on medications, potential side effects, and over-the-counter recommendations.
• Operational Integrity: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and maintain meticulous pharmacy records.
• Tech Integration: Utilize our pharmacy management system to streamline workflow (experience with Datascan is a huge plus!).
• Collaboration: Work alongside our pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain an efficient, friendly, and safe environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure: Must be a Registered Pharmacist (NY) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in good standing with the State of New York.
• Experience: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software. Datascan pharmacy system experience is highly preferred, but we are happy to train the right person.
• Soft Skills: A friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a "community-first" mindset.
