As an NP / PA Hospital Educator, this opportunity sits within an approximately 300-bed, Joint Commission–accredited teaching hospital recognized for nursing excellence and patient safety. The NP / PA Hospital Educator will join a mission-driven culture that values innovation, interprofessional practice, and evidence-based care.

The NP / PA Hospital Educator reports to the Director of Advanced Practice and partners closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, service line medical directors, and the Medical Staff Office. The role mentors Lead APPs and preceptors across service lines while collaborating with nursing education, quality, compliance, and revenue cycle teams to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing development. The NP / PA Hospital Educator also works side-by-side with clinical operations leaders to align education with outcomes and scope of practice.

The NP / PA Hospital Educator supports inpatient medicine, surgical subspecialties, emergency services, procedural areas, and select ambulatory settings that interface with the hospital, engaging dozens of APPs. This role is full-time days, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with dedicated time in the simulation lab and on the units for hands-on coaching.

As an NP / PA Hospital Educator, core responsibilities include designing and delivering evidence-based curricula, running simulation-based training, and developing, measuring, and documenting clinical competencies, including support for BLS/ACLS and specialty skills. Additionally, the role streamlines onboarding for new APPs, supports delineation of privileges, fosters ongoing professional development, and serves as a go-to clinical resource across disciplines. Administratively, the NP / PA Hospital Educator monitors quality indicators, coordinates coding and compliance education, contributes to committee work and accreditation readiness, and aligns educational plans with staffing, budget, and operational goals.
