Account Director: Amazon

Excited to say we are working on this Remote role: Amazon Media Strategist to lead Amazon advertising strategy for clients across ecommerce, beauty, finance, and other sectors. This role combines strategic consulting, hands-on campaign management, client leadership, and data-driven optimization to drive scalable growth through Amazon's advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute full-funnel Amazon media strategies across Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP .
• Own campaign planning, budget allocation, optimization, and performance improvement.
• Build sophisticated campaign structures at the ASIN level and optimize based on data, audience insights, and marketplace trends.
• Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for audience analysis, segmentation, and strategic recommendations.
• Act as the primary client partner, presenting insights, recommendations, and growth strategies.
• Analyze performance metrics beyond surface-level reporting, connecting media performance to business outcomes such as sales growth, ROAS, and share of voice.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, and AMC .
• Strong understanding of Amazon's advertising ecosystem, algorithms, and the relationship between paid media and organic rankings.
• Experience managing holistic media budgets and building strategies tied to business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Amazon advertising tools such as Pacvue, Perpetua, Skai, Quartile, M19, Jungle Scout, and AdBrew .
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Background

• Experience within retail media, ecommerce, or marketplace advertising .
• Exposure to other retail media platforms is a plus.
• Beauty/skincare industry experience is desirable but not required.
