Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Location: Bronx, NY

Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks (No Extension)

Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Compensation: $2,863 per week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week contract assignment at a large acute care facility in the Bronx, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality pre-operative and post-operative pediatric care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This is a contract-only assignment with no extension option.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for pediatric patients

• Provide bedside nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients

• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions

• Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV therapy

• Monitor vital signs and telemetry equipment

• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

• Follow infection control policies and hospital safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Med/Surg or Rehab within a large acute care hospital

• Strong skills in physical assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care

• Experience with post-operative care and telemetry monitoring

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

• Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verification required)

• Current AHA BLS certification

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
