Job Description
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electronic components with precision and consistency while following detailed drawings, job packets, and quality standards. This role supports production by performing accurate assembly, inspection, documentation, and packaging of medical-grade electronic products in a clean, well-organized environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Review and follow technical drawings, job packets, and BOMs.
- Perform visual inspections and basic functional testing on assembled products.
- Label, package, and document completed units accurately.
- Maintain an organized workstation following 5S and quality standards.
- Track production output and complete order confirmations.
Essential Skills
- Ability to assemble electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical drawings and job packets.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent, high-quality workmanship.
- Minimum 1 year of electrical or electronic assembly experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on assembly tasks.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and BOM verification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with IPC standards and soldering techniques.
- Experience in electronic or electrical assembly preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and well-lit, resembling a clean-room setting necessary for working with medical devices. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility in start and end times. The first shift is friendly, and employees can wear headphones at their workstations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Orchard Park, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
