US Demand Planner

The Demand Planner will develop, manage, and refine demand forecasts across multiple sales channels, including DTC, Amazon, and retail partners, ensuring optimal product availability while avoiding excess inventory. This role partners closely with Channel Owners, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Logistics to translate business plans into accurate, actionable forecasts. You will provide insights, track KPIs, and support leadership with scenario planning and continuous improvements to forecasting tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance SKU-level demand forecasts across DTC, Amazon, and retail partners in the North American region.
• Analyse historical sales, promotional activity, launches, seasonality, and broader market trends to drive forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Channel Owners to embed promotional calendars, campaigns, and new product launches into demand plans.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics to align demand plans with manufacturing capacity, lead times, and inventory flows.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions or adjustments.
• Prepare demand reports, insights, and KPI updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes, tools, and data quality, leveraging platforms like Anaplan.

Experience Requirements

• Background in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or a related planning function.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including building ad-hoc reports.
• Experience using Anaplan or comparable forecasting systems.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
