Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to add to our dynamic team. The role of the Senior Accountant is to ensure that our accounting practices are in conformance with our stringent integrity standards through the recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering of transactions related to a nationwide portfolio of premier real estate assets.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation and review of confidential financial statements, and reviewing general ledger reconciliations as necessary to ensure accuracy of reporting
• As a key member of the team participate in the research, development and implementation of new technologies, processes and procedures.
• Proactively identifying, researching, and reporting upon significant variances to high level executives and investors
• Collaboration with multiple internal departments along with senior executives to develop accurate budgets
• Direct involvement in and interaction with senior executives, investors and external accounting firms for the completion of year end requirements and reports
• Involvement in the acquisition process of new investment opportunities

Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA track preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within strict timelines
• Proficiency within the Microsoft suite of products as well as other major accounting platforms. Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Spreadsheet Server is a plus

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Compensation: ($80,000 - $100,000)
