Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist

Location: Jamaica, NY

Type: Contract | 9 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Evening / Night Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM | 35 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: Local: $60.50/hr | Travel: $74.88/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Jamaica, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing procedures
• Analyze and process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality control standards
• Ensure compliance with NYSED, hospital, and laboratory safety protocols
• Accurately document and report laboratory findings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams regarding patient test results
• Follow infection control and laboratory regulatory standards

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience required
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Laboratory Technology program required
• Active NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (092) required
• Strong laboratory testing and specimen processing experience
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• BLS Certification preferred
• Hospital laboratory experience preferred
