2nd Shift Foundry Maintenance Supervisor
• Work directly with Foundry Manager, and Maintenance Manager.
• Make appropriate recommendations for corrective actions based on hazards, procedural discrepancies, deterioration of equipment, schedule maintenance activities, update PM’s for efficiency and improvements.
• Consult with Production Operations to resolve production needs and maintenance support.
• Plan daily and weekly activities of maintenance department.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and monitor maintenance parts, and materials as needed for emergency repairs.
• Develop long range preventative, routine maintenance, and training plans for employees.
• Perform the following audit types: Parts Audits, PM Audits
• Job Planning to include cost summaries, parts requisitions, equipment modification and outside contractor support as needed.
• Supervise and implement safety and housekeeping practices including hazardous waste disposal.
• Directly involved in new hire process for department, coaching employees, and multifaceted field. Qualifications Experience and educational qualifications Five to Seven years supervisory experience or five years maintenance experience in a Foundry preferred. Certification or technical degree in related area preferred. Required traits
