Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack (Remote North America)

Salary Range: $180000 - $210000 USD

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to join our impactful highly collaborative team. This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in the US or Canada.

What Youll Do:

• Fullstack Development: Develop complex end-to-end features integrating both front-end (HTML CSS TypeScript/React) and back-end aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability.
• Quality & Collaboration: Uphold a high-quality standard by working closely with Product Management Design and Engineering stakeholders in a fast-paced iterative environment.
• Product Ownership: Step into a temporary product management role when necessary to ensure solutions meet high quality and effectiveness standards.
• Project Lifecycle: Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle from initial planning and design through deployment including conducting thorough code reviews and performance optimization.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers helping them advance their skills and careers.

• Experience: 5 years of professional software development experience specifically in an Individual Contributor (IC) role with demonstrated ability to work across the full stack or a strong backend-leaning background.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Proficiency in HTML CSS and TypeScript .
• Experience with a modern back-end language (e.g. Ruby Python or Java ).
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
• Product Mindset: You take pride in end-to-end ownershipfrom conceptualization to deploymentensuring solutions are effective and user-centric.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced product-focused environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
• Nice to Have: Experience with specific technologies like Rails PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch is highly valued along with a background in startup environments (founder or early employee experience).
