KBA Press Operator

• Reads job orders and loads paper into the press

• Fill the fountains

• Cleans plates and print cylinders

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as required

• Keeps work areas clean and organized, maintains housekeeping standards

• Helps pressman with putting loads out of the press

• Speed loads press feeder

• Clean blankets, as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 4 years of flexographic printing press experience is required

• KBA sheeted press, 8 color & 9 color experience is required.

• Familiarity Experience working with Mark Andy Flexo P5 or P7 required

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,

common fractions and decimals

• Must be able to read and interpret rulers, scales and other measurement devices

• Adherent to all safety procedures and guidelines related to operating machinery

• Superb attention to detail and product quality

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the

ability to adjust focus

• Regularly exposed to noise, dust, odors and oils

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
