The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Fullstack Engineer with the skill and leadership to shape Gordian’s user experience and technical foundations. You’ll obsess over clean code and practical solutions, but also step up as a leader who owns problems end‑to‑end. This is a chance to leave a real mark: the products you build will directly support the operators keeping 20% of the U.S. electricity grid safe and reliable.

You’ll Do

• Architect and build user‑facing features across frontend + backend

• Translate complex regulatory workflows into sleek, intuitive UI/UX

• Lead by example: set standards for code quality, product ownership, and design taste

• Collaborate with AI engineers and nuclear SMEs to ship impactful features

• Balance speed and rigor — knowing when to optimize and when to ship

You Bring

• 3–8 years fullstack experience; strong TypeScript/React + backend fundamentals

• Product sense: you care about usability, business outcomes, and design

• Demonstrated leadership and ownership in past roles or projects

• Bias towards action and problem‑solving without waiting for permission

• Bonus: experience with physics models, technical SaaS, or regulated industries
