We are a boutique agency founded in 2017 with a core mission to assist families and children by helping infants and toddlers diagnosed with ASD reach independence by mastering life skills. Through our play and teach philosophy we guide our students to achieve their best at life skills. Our dedicated team offers you full support from day one and helps to guide you at becoming a committed therapist for children in need and the families we serve. Responsibilities Include:
· Develop creative programs and activities for children with developmental disabilities in order to improve social and cognitive functions
· Encourage the child’s participation in goal-orientated activities
· Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child
· Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals
· Provide services in home, school-based and daycare centers
· Daily data collection
· Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child Requirements:
· NYS Certified Students with Disabilities Birth-2 Certification
OR
· LMSW Preferred:
· Bilingual a plus
· Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction preferred (training is provided)
· Experience working in home-based programs, schools or daycares Benefits:
