Senior Product Manager - Ads Optimization
Our mission on the Ads Optimization team is to personalize the ad experience, creating a more relevant experience for listeners and driving more outcomes for advertisers. Our work keeps music free for millions of users across the world and contributes directly to a profitable and sustainable business for Spotify.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and scale ML products for advertisers. You’ll work with a diverse group of collaborators and stakeholders across Ads R&D, and help build a platform that enables brand and content promotion across multiple Spotify teams. Your work is critical to the success of ads at Spotify and is one of the highest investment areas for the team.
What You'll Do
- Identify and prioritize needs for hundreds of thousands of advertisers with diverse goals
- Create a roadmap to improve the ad auction, with a direct impact on Spotify revenue
- Build and improve on Spotify’s pacing and bidding features to help advertisers optimize for what’s most important to them
- Work cross-functionally with backend engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, product marketing, and PMs across Amplify to identify and drive opportunities for improved revenue and user experience
- Create products which scale our Spotify Ads Platform
- Help develop a holistic ad strategy for the future of the Spotify Ads Business
- Create a joyful, inclusive, and productive environment in your squad
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience driving technical products with proven user and business impact.
- You have worked with machine learning and understand how to build a roadmap around ML priorities.
- You have experience or an interest in advertising products.
- You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams, including partners, and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done.
- You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize.
- You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location .
- This team operates within the Eastern time zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $ 142,203.00 - $ 203,147.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, a monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
