Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Location: Astoria, NY 11102

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and 4:00 PM–11:30 PM

Pay Rate Range: $55 – $65 Hourly

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking X-Ray Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Long Island City, NY.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Minimize radiation exposure using appropriate protective measures and techniques.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols in all clinical settings.

• Accurately document patient procedures and maintain up-to-date records.

• Inspect and maintain equipment functionality; promptly report technical issues.

• Monitor and manage inventory of radiology supplies.

• Stay current with licensure requirements and continuing education.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology – Required

Licenses/Certifications

• New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T) – Required

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification – Required
