Momoya SoHo — Now Hiring Experienced Bartender

Located in the heart of SoHo, Momoya SoHo is a well-established Japanese restaurant known for its refined interpretation of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine. Our menu highlights premium sushi, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtfully crafted dishes served in a welcoming yet sophisticated dining environment.

We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Bartender to join our team.

Momoya SoHo is not a traditional full-bar concept . Our beverage program focuses on:

• Premium Japanese sake
• Sake-based cocktails and seasonal specialty drinks
• Curated French and international wines
• Japanese beer and specialty beverages

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sake, wine, and Japanese hospitality. Experience with sake-based cocktails, wine service, and Japanese dining culture is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve sake-based cocktails, wine, sake, beer, and other beverages
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on sake, wine, and beverage pairings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and ordering support
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with restaurant standards
• Support the dining room team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain knowledge of current food and beverage offerings

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant environment

• At least 1 year of experience in a Japanese restaurant preferred

• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sushi, sake, and wine is highly preferred

• Strong guest service and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork mentality

• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
