Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY 14621 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Healthcare Setting: EP Lab / Cath Lab
• Start Date: September 16, 2025
• End Date: December 16, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2690 - $2760
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month; up to 3 holidays per year
• On-Call: Minimum 1 day per week (Monday–Thursday)
• Floating: Yes, as needed
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC charting experience required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent EP Lab or Cath Lab RN experience
• Clinical experience with EP procedures: ablations, pacemakers, ICD insertions
• EPIC charting experience required
• BLS certification (current and valid)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from Rochester, NY 14621
• Ability to float to other clinical units as needed

EP Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures including ablations, pacemaker and ICD insertions
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
• Administer medications and provide patient education regarding EP procedures and post-procedure care
• Accurately document all patient care activities in EPIC
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe and sterile clinical environment in the EP Lab
