Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York, a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Division of General Surgery to join our staff at our Cooperstown, NY location.

Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Join an established General Surgery group of 10 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians
2. Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital and call coverage.
3. Previous surgical experience preferred 3-5 years breast surgery comprehensive patient care

1. Salary Range: $124,332 - $139,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
2. Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

1. National Certification as a Physician Assistant
2. NYS Licensure
3. BLS Certification
4. DEA Required
