Schedule: 4-day or 5-day work week | Includes 1 Virtual Day (Flexible)
Practice Setting: Inpatient Substance Use Treatment Facility

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor or Program Director
General Description:
Provide counseling and support in accordance with OASAS regulatory standards across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation programs. Assist with clinical operations, maintain policies and procedures, and ensure patient/client care adheres to best practice approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage caseloads and provide weekly individual and group counseling sessions.
Perform assessments, intakes, and treatment planning.
Assist in developing culturally and linguistically appropriate clinical treatment tracks.
Conduct waived urine testing and monitor toxicology results.
Assist with clinical discharge and referrals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in case conferences, utilization reviews, and skills-based workshops under supervision of a QHP.
Record patient/client data in HRA Substance abuse Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) as required.
Maintain confidentiality, clean work environment, and documentation standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
CASAC-Trainee: High School Diploma + CASAC-T certificate + 1 year related experience
CASAC / CASAC-P: High School Diploma or Associate Degree + CASAC / CASAC-P certificate + 1-6 years related experience
CASAC Advanced: Bachelor's degree + CASAC certificate + 5 years related experience
