Garden Installer & Maintenance
Start Date: April 1, 2026 Compensation: $17-30/hour
We are a landscaping company in NYC specializing in all types of urban gardens, including rooftops, terraces, townhomes, and courtyards. We provide design, installation, and maintenance. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic candidates who are energetic, motivated and hardworking for part-time seasonal work.
Come join a great team with the opportunity to learn and work on some fantastic projects! We are looking for experienced gardeners. Pay will be based on experience.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Work on an installation crew of 5-15 individuals to install large rooftop and backyard container/in ground gardens
- Work on a maintenance team to maintain existing garden spaces
- Some experience with drip irrigation and low-voltage lighting systems a plus
Qualifications/Requirements
- A passion for working in gardens
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift soil and move plants and container trees
- Plant identification and care a plus
- Ability to handle customer service, detail-oriented, physically demanding work
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work on a team.
Additional Information
Must be able to work in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.
Bring your own gloves, pruners, sunscreen, bug spray, refillable water bottle.
