Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts (Thursday–Saturday, including holidays)

• Shift: Day/Night

• Shift Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM (60-minute break)

• Pay Rate: $64 – $68 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join a high-acuity academic medical center for a contract assignment in New York, NY. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise in advanced CT systems, contrast administration, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols

• Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during procedures

• Administer contrast media in compliance with New York State certification and safety guidelines

• Operate and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment (experience with Apex scanner preferred)

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records

• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital compliance standards

• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State Radiography License

• NYS certification for contrast media injection

• ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)

• Current continuing education credits as required by ARRT

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience

• Proficiency with CT systems (Apex experience preferred)
