Why This Role Is Exciting

This is not a passive warehouse role or a narrow logistics job. It is a high-ownership role at the center of a growing company.

You will:

  • Take ownership of a mission-critical part of the business

  • Build systems that improve efficiency and scale across multiple sites

  • Lead and develop a team

  • Work closely with leadership

  • See the direct impact of your work on programs serving thousands of families

  • Grow in a fast-moving organization where strong ideas and strong execution are truly valued

If you like solving problems, building better processes, and being the person who makes things happen, this role will be a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including organization, inventory tracking, and material flow

  • Build and maintain strong inventory systems so materials are always stocked, accurate, and easy to access

  • Keep the workspace clean, safe, and highly functional

Materials Production & Preparation

  • Lead preparation of enrichment materials across arts, woodworking, and engineering programs

  • Ensure a high bar for accuracy, efficiency, and quality

Logistics & Supply Chain

  • Own the full logistics cycle: ordering, preparation, packing, transportation, and campsite setup

  • Coordinate deliveries and movement of materials across NYC locations

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage and support the maker and warehouse team

  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and follow-through

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Create and refine systems, workflows, and protocols

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Ensure materials and logistics are aligned with program goals and timelines

  • Design practical, efficient warehouse organization that supports speed and scale

Who You Are

You may be a strong fit if you are:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Naturally proactive and dependable

  • Comfortable owning both strategy and execution

  • A strong problem-solver who likes improving systems

  • Clear and professional in how you communicate

  • Comfortable leading people while also staying close to the work

  • Motivated by impact, responsibility, and growth

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20+ lbs

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

  • Comfort navigating NYC for deliveries and logistics coordination

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means:

  • Materials are prepared accurately and on time

  • The warehouse runs smoothly and stays organized

  • Logistics are proactive rather than reactive

  • The maker team is supported and productive

  • Systems improve over time instead of becoming more complicated

  • Camp sites and programs consistently have what they need to succeed

Join Our Vision:

  • We are accountable and disciplined.

  • We actively seek feedback, embracing different perspectives and effective methods that contribute to our growth.

  • We avoid superficial solutions, opting instead to thoroughly analyze problems to create sustainable, scalable responses.
