MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

There is no civil service examination required for this position for the duration of the NY HELPS Program. Candidates must meet the minimum civil service qualifications for a NY HELPS appointment as follows:

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility for a New York State Commercial Driver's License, Class- B" P/S" endorsements at the time of application; possession of a valid Class-B "P/S" license at the time of appointment.

• Qualified and certified as a New York State school bus driver and have all the necessary requirements of the applicable New York State motor vehicle laws and State Department of Education requirements at the time of appointment.

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years of age, per New York State Education Department regulations.

HOURLY RATE: $21.68/hour
