Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (Level 2) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Variable Schedule Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care setting preferred License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: - BLS, ACLS, PALS required through an accredited system - Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire - CPI certification within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills - Computer literacy Description: The ICU Registered Nurse provides care for patients in an intensive care environment. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients across all age groups. The individual must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret appropriate information. Care must be tailored to meet the needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates professional behavior consistent with effective communication and teamwork principles.
