Pine Hollow Club is seeking friendly, organized, and welcoming Hosts/Hostesses to join our Food & Beverage team for the upcoming club season. If you enjoy creating a great first impression, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to meet you.
Our hosts play a key role in setting the tone for the member experience. This position is responsible for greeting members and guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring smooth flow throughout the dining areas.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are personable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a hospitality-driven environment.
What You’ll DoAs a Host/Hostess, you will help create a warm, organized, and welcoming experience from the moment members arrive.
Member Experience- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and waitlists with accuracy and attention to detail
- Escort members and guests to tables and provide menus
- Maintain a polished and welcoming presence at the host stand
- Manage the flow of the dining room to ensure efficient and balanced seating
- Communicate clearly with servers and managers regarding table status and guest needs
- Monitor wait times and keep members informed in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and general inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Assist with light administrative or service support tasks as needed
- Work closely with service staff and management to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Support the team during busy service periods and special events
- Participate in pre-service meetings and training sessions
- Friendly, professional, and polished demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Seasonal employment April through November
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Hours may vary based on club activity and events
This is a seasonal position aligned with the Pine Hollow Club operating season.
Because of the seasonal nature of the role, this position is not eligible for paid time off or company benefits.
