Software Engineer II

What You'll Do:

• Analyzing, designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines that feed our data warehouse from internal services, such as our insurance policy administration tools, underwriting models, or our CRM and marketing applications, as well as from third party systems.
• Directing engineering teams to analyze and build cloud-native integrations, frameworks, and applications to join data across operational systems and data repositories to drive business decisions.
• Establishing best practices to ensure scalable data processing solutions, as well as researching and implementing optimal and efficient mechanisms for data access.
• Driving collaboration with our sales, marketing, product, and insurance teams to identify, design, and integrate datasets from a variety of sources in our core knowledge graph to represent entities in the venture ecosystem, and to better understand startups’ insurable risks, and specifying new logging events to produce insights into our customers’ experience using our products.

About You:

• MS in CS, SE, CE, IS or a related advanced computing degree plus at least one year of relevant work experience.
• Work experience should include experience building high volume software systems to collect and process data analytics and leverage the same for actionable business analysis.
• Also, experience should include working extensively with Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and Google Analytics.

Compensation philosophy:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are part of our total compensation package, which also includes benefits and other perks.
