Our client near Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking a Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join their team. this function is a full time permanent opportunity which would afford the candidate a lucrative compensation plan and broad benefits package, as well as the potential for growth.



The Trusts and Estates Paralegal must have:

» 1+ year practice as a Paralegal with Trusts and Estate

»Familiarity with legal procedures, protocols and the court system

»Excellent organization and time management expertise

»Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

» capability to proactively work alone and well under pressure

» practice with Medicare/Medicaid Applications a plus!

Paralegal job tasks include:

»Ensure day-to-day responsibilities are met

»Manage client caseload effectively, developing strong, positive relations and referrals

»Foster an outstanding work environment with a client focused approach

»Build rapport and communicate effectively with firm partners, clients, and professional staff

»Acquiring documents for litigation

»Supporting case preparation and preparing case summaries




Our client is seeking someone who can come in full time and make a great addition to their team. You must maintain the utmost level of professionalism and confidentiality in this function as it deals with highly sensitive information. Pay rate will be located on practice, but will be from $20-$30 per hour. Candidates should be self-starters who are hard working and willing to learn.
