Travel Registered Nurse Clinic Job
Emergency Department RN (ED RN) travel assignment in Clifton Springs, NY. 8-week contract starting 07/21/2026, with a 3x12 rotating schedule covering Nights and Mids (1900–0700 and 1100–2300). Weekly pay range is $1,770–$1,938 per week; no guaranteed hours. Unit operates as a hospital ED with a separate CPEP space for behavioral health, serving a broad patient population from infants to geriatrics. First-time travelers are accepted; locals within a 75-mile radius are not eligible to submit. NY RN license in hand required to submit. Key Highlights

- Provide emergency nursing care across the full age spectrum (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) in the ED, including triage, rapid assessment, stabilization, and monitoring
- Administer medications, start IVs, manage airway and ventilated patients, monitor hemodynamics, and interpret 12-lead EKGs; implement STEMI/stroke protocols as indicated
- Collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Work, Rapid Response, Pharmacy; coordinate with interpretation services and ensure clear handoffs
- Manage behavioral health crises within the CPEP space, including de-escalation, safety planning, and coordination of psychiatric evaluation
- Document thoroughly in EPIC, adhering to charting standards, orders, and patient records
- Utilize ED equipment and support devices (Glidescope, Lucas, US-guided IV, bladder scanner, Bair Hugger, blood warmer) and maintain safety and infection control practices Requirements
- Current NY Registered Nurse license in hand (to submit)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS; Additional facility-listed certifications: CPI, TNCC, TRUST, CPIM
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year of ED or acute care experience; charge experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred; travel experience not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED/CPEP environment; willingness to float as needed; weekend coverage every other weekend; compliance with the facility’s scheduling rules Benefits and Support
