Quick facts

• Role: CDL‑B Local Delivery Driver
• Territory: New Jersey and local Long Island, NY
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM; home daily; no weekends

What you’ll do

• Complete thorough pre/post‑trip inspections to ensure road readiness and DOT compliance
• Operate a commercial vehicle to fulfill scheduled local deliveries
• Plan routes for efficiency and customer commitments
• Manage shipment documents (bills of lading, manifests) with accuracy
• Load/unload and secure freight; verify counts against paperwork
• Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage, and all DOT records
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs with leasing/service providers
• Assist shipping/warehouse operations when routes are complete

What makes you a great fit

• Active CDL Class B ; age 21+ (per DOT)
• Experience as a commercial, route, or delivery driver preferred
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving habits
• Map reading and GPS navigation skills; strong regional familiarity
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and move materials as part of loading/unloading

By week’s end, you’ll be independently running morning deliveries, updating your logs, and coordinating any needed service with our leasing partners—all before your early afternoon clock‑out.
