Job Title: CT Technologist – MSB (Contract)

Schedule

• Shift Type: Rotating Day/Evening Schedule
• Hours: 3 shifts per week (22.5 hours/week)
• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shift Length: 7.5 hours per day

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures within a hospital radiology department. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging accuracy, and adhere to strict radiation safety standards while delivering exceptional patient care throughout diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure optimal diagnostic quality
• Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality control checks prior to patient scans
• Administer contrast media and/or radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and charge records in compliance with department policies
• Identify and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or issues
• Perform ongoing quality control and safety testing on imaging equipment
• Manage patient imaging data for radiologist review and interpretation
• Order, verify, and document radiopharmaceutical doses prior to use
• Receive and confirm radiopharmaceutical deliveries and verify dosage activity levels

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during scans
• Respond appropriately to patient concerns during radiology procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (required)
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
