Summary of Role:
To provide financial services and advice to mid-market and younger investors. Responsible for converting any prospects to clients and working proactively to grow the Financial Services Group and retain existing clients.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Provide financial planning, advice, and related products/services to members/clients from the approved service offerings of Broadview
-
Obtain leads for products/services and cross-sell Credit Union services to qualified members at every opportunity.

Conduct client reviews on at least an annual basis, as required.

Meet or exceed production/leading activity criteria.

Establish relationship and partnership with LBRs and credit union staff to educate them on department products and services to increase their knowledge and facilitate referrals to FSG and WMG.

Serve as mentor to RLRBs and LRBs on fact finding and matching products and services to members'/clients' needs. Coach RLRBs on quality referrals.

Refer clients with advanced fact patterns to WMG, and when appropriate for client's situation.

Process appropriate paperwork for new business independently as needed.

Assist with clients referred by Credit Union staff and operations team.

Provide assistance with the formulation of FSG Business Strategy.

Create, monitor, and update prospect/client financial plans.

Perform formal presentations of to credit union staff, SEGs, clients, and potential affiliated credit unions.

Conduct, and help develop, member education seminars and webinars.

Attend strategic Credit Union SEG visits to provide initial responses to inquiries about service opportunities.

Stay abreast of market trends and satisfactorily complete all required courses to maintain licenses and/or other required designations.

Perform regular and accurate record keeping of transactions in Salesforce CRM.

Maintain confidentiality of client files.

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned or required.

Complete and pass courses as recommended by the CIO/Director and/or licensing authorities.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
-
Preferred college degree with at least 4-7 years of related experience or equivalent experience. Licenses required: NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance, and NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses. Work toward obtaining advanced financial designation. CFP designation preferred.

Excellent presentation skills
Starting Compensation: $84,637-$105,796 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
