$35/hr Youth Care Worker. Corrections

The Youth Care Worker (YCW) is responsible for the oversight and safety of children or adolescents in a variety of secure setting care settings. The Youth Care Worker will interact with the youth in a positive manner while assisting them with daily activities and implementing treatment plans. The Youth Care Worker will display a professional and caring attitude and will encourage positive behaviors through effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving. The Youth Care Worker will respond to emergencies and assist in the redirection of youth when needed. $35/hour Orientation - 2 weeks outside of Albany - Amergis will be paying for their hotel stay there. After that, they'll receive an additional 1-2 weeks of orientation at the site they'd be working. Preferred Qualifications - 2 years of direct care experience in the care/programming of youth from 6-21.
