Sous Chef
Seeking a passionate, hardworking, dedicated Sous Chef to join a tight knit team! This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside Michelin Young Chef award winner, and Food & Wine Best New chef Telly Justice at her jewel box, community centric flagship restaurant. Curiosity, creativity, inclusivity and patience are key traits in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will exemplify these characteristics as well as:
-Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role. 2 years preferred.
-Tasting menu experience
-Well rounded cooking technique
-Proficiency with butchery and protein cookery skills
-Proficiency with vegetable cookery and sauce making
-Strong knife skills
-Strong communication and organization skills
-Expediting experience
-Proficiency with DOH compliance
-A desire to learn, grow and teach
We are offering:
-80-85k/year based on experience
