Sous Chef
For two decades, Buddakan New York has captivated guests with a surreal dining experience where the serenity of Asia meets the flamboyance of 16th-century Paris. Ornate chandeliers, gilded details, and otherworldly artwork set the stage for an immersive culinary journey. Now, with Culinary Director Danny Bowien's bold and inventive vision woven into the menu, Buddakan continues to push creative boundaries while honoring the legacy that has made it one of New York City's most celebrated dining destinations.
We are now seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.
This position offers a comprehensive package including:
- A base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000

- Energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and organizational skills
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach restaurant employees
- 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience as a sous chef in high-volume and well-rated restaurants
- The ability to support the line during service while managing transition from prep to service
