Grill Cook

Beefbar is seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, expertise in preparing high-quality meats, and the ability to maintain consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Beefbar's exacting standards
• Specialize in grilling and preparing various cuts of premium meats
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
• Adhere to portion control and plating standards

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a grill cook in a fine dining establishment
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
• Strong knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Food Handlers License (strongly preferred)
