Senior Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to add to our dynamic team. The role of the Senior Accountant is to ensure that our accounting practices are in conformance with our stringent integrity standards through the recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering of transactions related to a nationwide portfolio of premier real estate assets. As a key member of the team, you will participate in the research, development, and implementation of new technologies, processes and procedures.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation and review of confidential financial statements, and reviewing general ledger reconciliations as necessary to ensure accuracy of reporting
- Proactively identify, research, and report upon significant variances to high level executives and investors
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments along with senior executives to develop accurate budgets
- Direct involvement and interaction with senior executives, investors, and external accounting firms for the completion of year-end reporting
- Involvement in the acquisition process of new investment opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA track preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within strict timelines
- Proficiency within the Microsoft suite of products as well as other major accounting platforms (Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Spreadsheet Server is a plus)
- Self-starter with a competitive, success-oriented mindset
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Compensation: (80,000 - $100,000)
