We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Environmental Geologist (PG) to join our dynamic team in Queens Village, NY. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a wide array of environmental projects, focusing on the assessment and remediation of commercial and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental field investigations, including the collection and analysis of soil, groundwater, and vapor samples.
  • Perform and manage Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and oversee remediation efforts.
  • Analyze environmental data and produce detailed technical reports in line with state and federal guidelines.
  • Offer expert advice on environmental conditions, regulatory requirements, and remediation techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members in field methodologies, safety practices, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Active Professional Geologist (PG) license is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting field investigations and interpreting data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear and precise reports.
  • Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, and environmental data management software is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to various project sites as required.
