Are you a skilled Imaging Service Engineer looking to bring your expertise to a respected medical center in East Meadow, NY? We're seeking a motivated professional to join a high-performing clinical engineering team, where you'll maintain and support a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure patient safety and operational excellence.
What You’ll DoInspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate imaging systems and medical equipment
Support MRI/CT and CathLab technologies with expert-level troubleshooting
Partner with clinical staff to identify and resolve equipment issues
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
Assist with on-call support rotation as needed
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in biomedical engineering, electronics , or a related technical field
5+ years of hands-on experience servicing imaging equipment in healthcare environments
In-depth knowledge of MRI, CT, and CathLab equipment
Familiarity with hospital safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Experience with Hologic imaging systems
Military technical training or OEM certifications
Contribute to critical patient care by ensuring the reliability of life-saving imaging technologies
