Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Occasional weekends for events)

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (Based on experience)

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodial & Campus Safety Associate to join our maintenance team. This is a critical "boots-on-the-ground" role focused on the sanitation and upkeep of our athletic stadium, cafeteria, and general building facilities. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean environment and understands that their work directly impacts the health and safety of our school community.

Key Responsibilities

Stadium & Athletic Facilities Oversight

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Home Team locker room, restrooms, Trainer’s office, Coaches' areas, and Referees' room.
• Ensure all stadium trash receptacles (including bleacher areas) are emptied and maintained daily.
• Sanitize surfaces and restock essential paper products and supplies.

Cafeteria & Dining Sanitation

• Execute cleaning between lunch periods (wiping tables, clearing spills, and mopping floors).
• Maintain the sanitation of the trash receptacle areas and manage waste removal throughout service hours.
• Ensure the cafeteria is fully clean and sanitized following the final lunch service.

Grounds & Safety Maintenance

• Monitor and empty waste bins at all campus ball fields.
• Perform critical winter safety duties, including clearing emergency exits and applying ice melt during inclement weather.
• Deploy and retrieve floor mats as weather dictates to mitigate slip and fall hazards.

Logistics & Internal Support

• Facilitate daily package deliveries to academic departments and pick up mail from the Post Office.
• Manage the distribution of paper and essential supplies to the Faculty Room, Library, and Computer Labs.
• Facilitate event setups and breakdowns as dictated by the school’s facilities schedule.

Emergency Response Team

• Serve as a designated member of the Building Response Team, assisting as a floor monitor during fire drills and other safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and the ability to work the 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift consistently.
• Physicality: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move equipment or supplies as needed.
• Licensure: A valid driver’s license is required (for mail and delivery tasks).
• Character: A commitment to the mission and values of CBA, including a professional demeanor around students and staff.
