Job Title: EMG/EEG Technician

Location: Syracuse, NY

Type: Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (based on department needs)

Status: Rotating weekends and holidays

Pay Rate: $55 to $65/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking EMG/EEG Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse , NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex electrodiagnostic tests (SSEP, NCV, VEP, BAER, EEG) according to physician orders and hospital protocols

• Review patient history and clinical information to determine the most appropriate testing modality

• Establish rapport with patients to ensure cooperation and comfort during procedures

• Maintain accurate patient records and document all relevant data

• Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness

• Collaborate with neurologists and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care

• Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations

• Provide on-call or rotating coverage on weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year of experience in EMG/EEG testing

• Certification as Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.), NCST, or EPT preferred

• BLS/CPR certified

• Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic testing modalities and patient care protocols

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a clinical team environment
