Superintendent - Construction

This company's urgently hiring for a super with experience working on out of the ground construction.

Ideally, they want someone who has experience working on government or educational buildings. Concrete experience a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Supervise and lead construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Manage contract negotiations and enforce contract terms with subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or project management.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with risk management and compliance in construction projects.
