This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment.

After applying, candidates are welcome to attend an in-person open call at KYU Restaurant on Thursday, the 29th, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Please apply in advance before arriving. Interviews will be conducted on-site during the scheduled time window.

Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Provide detailed menu knowledge, including specials and recommendations
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
• Manage multiple tables while maintaining high service standards
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
• Uphold KYU’s service standards and values at all times
• Process payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions
• Assist with dining room setup and breakdown for service

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Server or in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
