The Office of the Vice Provost for International Education ( VPIE ) welcomes applications for the position of Project Coordinator for Overseas and Intercultural Programs . The Project Coordinator will be stationed at the University at Buffalo and will play a key role in administering the University at Buffalos overseas (Singapore-based) programs.
The Project Coordinator will:
- Manage program student and academic records, including supporting course scheduling, monitoring student registration, evaluating student transfer credit requests, and maintaining course records.
- Manage course articulation processes, and coordinate related matters with campus partners.
- Maintain program communications, including liaising with campus partners, visitors, and others. Collect, triage and disseminate various materials including course materials. Manage program website and the departmental newsletter.
- Coordinate program travel, provide reimbursement support, and advise on related processes and regulations. Manage non-salaried appointments, stipend and contractor payments, and support overseas and non-citizen payments. Provide other general business and operating support.
- Provide logistical coordination for events including scheduling and organizing activities.
- Assist with other related projects and duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and two years related experience. Experience in an area directly related to position responsibilities such as office administration, student record administration, or academic and event scheduling is desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to use or learn a wide range of computer applications and systems; a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Competence in using Peoplesoft software or similar student information systems, and a working knowledge of MS Access database.
- Experience working with international or intercultural education programs.
