Job Title: Dental Assistant

Pay Rate: Up to $22/hour

Schedule

• Primary Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes a 60-minute break)

• Alternate Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (PRN, as needed)

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support an Adult Dental / Oral Surgery department in a hospital-based clinical setting. This short-term assignment covers a leave of absence and requires strong chairside assisting skills, experience with EPIC EMR, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and oral surgeons during dental and oral surgery procedures

• Provide chairside support, including instrument preparation and patient positioning

• Maintain a clean, sterile, and well-organized treatment area

• Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety

• Accurately document patient information in EPIC EMR

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical protocols

• Support daily clinic operations and patient flow

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year of chairside Dental Assistant experience

• Experience using EPIC EMR

• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program

• Experience in oral surgery or hospital-based dental settings
