Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician) to support clinicians by fabricating, modifying, and maintaining custom orthotic and prosthetic devices that enhance patient mobility and quality of life.
This hands-on role is ideal for a technically skilled individual who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in a lab environment, and is committed to producing high-quality, patient-specific medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and finish custom orthotic and prosthetic devices according to clinician specifications
- Assist clinicians with device setup, alignment, and adjustments
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Operate and maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab workspaces
- Track work orders, production schedules, and material usage
- Follow established safety protocols, infection-control guidelines, and quality standards
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or technical fabrication preferred
- Strong craftsmanship skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and fabrication equipment
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new fabrication techniques and materials
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
