Business Manager

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Manager for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Work on and contribute to operational change projects. Perform project management across the full project lifecycle, from scope definition to project implementation and post-implementation evaluations to drive business process optimization and revenue improvement. Gather project requirements and provide metrics to management. Work with business stakeholders. Analyze business expectations to determine the level of involvement, resources, and timelines required. Use Visio, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA. Prepare detailed project plans and assess critical needs to achieve the desired outcome, considering banking business operations, including processes, systems, applications, networks, and product offerings. Stay abreast of relevant industry and regulatory updates that may impact the project and collaborate with stakeholders to make necessary adjustments to project details. Obtain approvals for material changes which may impact the project scope. Liaise between Technology and Business. Conduct impact analysis and assess associated risks to propose solutions. Review accuracy of functional and technical requirement documents to provide feedback and propose corrections. Drive completion of project milestones and escalate risks and issues. Apply Agile methods of mitigating risk and issues. Host working group sessions with stakeholders and action owners to discuss progress status, blockers and next steps including strategy, planning, and execution. Develop key performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms for evaluation of post-implementation results and change impacts. Define acceptance criteria. Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues, clarify requirements, and facilitate intergroup meetings. Prepare status decks and actions trackers for project progress monitoring and facilitation of issue resolution. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in any field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Manager, Senior Product Owner, Project Manager, Change Management Manager, Program Manager, Marketing Manager, Operations Specialist, or related position performing project management for operational process changes within a global financial services institution. 6 years of experience must include: Change and project management across various jurisdictions and regions; Change and project management, strategy, planning, and execution; Stakeholder identification, analysis, and management; Gathering project requirements and providing metrics to management; Project planning and scope definition across the entire project lifecycle; Risks control and adverse impact mitigation; Working with banking business operations, including processes, systems, applications, networks, and product offerings; Conducting project management including Agile, Communications, and Change Management methodologies; Visio, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA.
