Project Manager/Estimator
Construction Trades Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead crews, oversee installations, and ensure high‑quality electrical work across a wide range of project types.
This leader will coordinate daily operations, support electricians and apprentices, and uphold our clients long‑standing reputation for craftsmanship, safety, and customer service.
Job Duties:
- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on multiple job sites
- Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure efficient workflow
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Maintain a professional, positive jobsite environment
- Ensure proper conduit planning, measuring, bending, threading, and installation
- Verify proper termination of all electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot single‑phase and three‑phase electrical issues
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Ensure all work meets NEC code requirements
- Conduct site inspections and maintain clean, orderly work areas
- Maintain accountability for tools, materials, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, specifications, and worksite directions
- Coordinate with project managers and office staff on scheduling and materials
- Document progress and communicate issues promptly
Oversee installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of:
- Lighting systems
- Electrical distribution systems
- Panel boards
- Outdoor lighting
- Control systems (VFDs, ECMs, PLCs a plus)
Qualifications:
- 4–6+ years of electrical experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of NEC code
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- OSHA‑10 required
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and handle physical tasks
